Case study
Turning a restaurant site into an ordering and reservation platform

Restaurant websites are often fragmented: a showcase site on one side, an external booking tool, a delivery platform taking a commission — with the risk that information becomes inconsistent across tools. Sakura needed a single entry point for its menu, reservations and orders.
I built a Next.js application connected to Payload CMS, which acts as the back office: the team can edit a dish, change a price or manage a reservation without touching code or redeploying the site. Payment runs through Stripe, which handles transaction security and compliance without needing to build that layer in-house.
Result: a single tool to manage menu, orders and reservations, with no third-party platform commission, and a team fully autonomous over the content.
